Sway & the New Forest

Heather View and Heather Cottage are located in the quiet and peaceful village of Sway on the New Forest National Park; three miles from the town of Lymington, and five miles from the coast.

Ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs roam the New Forest freely; giving the area a truly rural atmosphere. There are many forest walks and rides to be enjoyed.

Sway village has a train station, convenience store, butchers, hairdressers, and a surgery.

The New Forest is popular for walking, riding, cycling, golf, sailing, sea and fresh water fishing, bird watching, deer watching and the contrasting atmospheres of wooded forest, heath, Solent, open sea and beaches.

There’s so much to see and enjoy... Like the ancient woodland, the wealth of nature, and, above all, the peace and tranquillity...
